Core Focus

Daily Expense, Income & Party Credit Tracking

Most small shop owners still track money the old way: a paper khata for who owes what, a notebook for daily expenses, and a rough mental tally of cash versus digital sales. This app replaces that with a simple mobile ledger, letting owners log purchases, salaries, and utility expenses, track party-wise credit history, and reconcile daily income by payment mode, all from their phone.

The Challenge

Three Problems We Had to Solve

01

Accounting Software Built for Accountants

Most existing accounting software assumes familiarity with ledgers and journal entries, which shop owners running a counter all day don't have time to learn.

02

Notebook Speed

The app had to feel as quick as writing in a notebook, while still keeping organized, searchable records.

03

A Simpler Question Than Bookkeeping

The need is simpler than double-entry bookkeeping: know what came in, what went out, and who still owes money.

Modules & Features

What We Built

Five pieces covering the full daily routine, from logging a purchase to reconciling the day's income.

01

Categorized Home Screen

Entries are grouped under Purchase, Salary, and Others (utility bills, misc. expenses), each with a recognizable icon and a single tap through to full detail.

02

Fast Expense Entry

The Add Expense screen keeps the form short — Title, Type, and Description — with a single Save action.

03

Party-Wise Credit Ledger

Each vendor or customer gets their own running account, with Entry and History tabs, dated transactions, and a running total.

04

Cash vs. Online Income Tracking

The Income view breaks each day down by Counter Cash and Online Cash, with a month selector to page through past periods.

05

Search & Quick Add

A search bar and floating add button keep logging a new entry within one or two taps from anywhere in the app.

Design Philosophy

How the Interface Is Designed

The interface leans on a clean white base with a single confident teal green for primary actions — Save, Add Credit — and a navy accent for the month selector, keeping the palette small enough that action items are always obvious. Icons are simple and literal (cart for purchase, gift for salary, wallet for exchange/expense) so the app stays legible even for users who don't consider themselves "tech-savvy."

Key Features

Built for Notebook-Speed Bookkeeping

Categorized Expense Log

Purchase, Salary, and Others keep entries organized the way a shop owner already thinks about them.

Quick Add Expense Form

Title, Type, and Description are the only fields standing between a purchase and a saved record.

Party-Wise Credit Ledger

Entry and History tabs with running totals replicate a traditional khata book, but searchable and permanent.

Add Credit Flow

A dedicated flow for extending or recording dues against a vendor or customer.

Daily Income Tracking

Counter Cash and Online Cash are tracked separately so owners can see how much revenue is digital versus cash in hand.

Month-Based Navigation

A month selector pages through past income and expense records without losing today's view.

No. The app is built around categories shop owners already think in, like Purchase, Salary, and Others.
